DR. ROBERT PIERCE RECEIVES AALN LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR RESIDENCY WORK AT OUWB

Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND) proudly congratulates Neurologist Dr. Robert Pierce on receiving the Leadership Award from the Association of Academic Leaders of Neurology (AALN). This national recognition honors Dr. Pierce’s leadership and long-standing commitment to advancing physician education in academic neurology.

Dr. Pierce received the award for his work as Residency Program Director at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, where he mentors and trains future neurologists. The AALN Leadership Award recognizes academic neurologists who demonstrate excellence in leadership, education, and service to the field, helping shape the next generation of physicians while strengthening the future of neurological care.

In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Pierce serves as a sub-investigator in multiple sclerosis clinical trials. His involvement in neurological research supports the advancement of new treatment options and contributes to improved patient outcomes for individuals living with complex neurological conditions.
