The Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND) was recently featured in the March issue of the Riverview Register and Southgate Star, during nationally recognized Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Awareness Month, highlighting how specialized MS care is now more accessible for patients and families in the Downriver community.
MIND’s Riverview location offers patients access to the expertise of the MIND MS Center, where a team of neurologists and MS specialists provide comprehensive, long-term care for individuals living with the disease. The center brings together advanced diagnostics, infusion therapy, personalized treatment planning, and coordinated neurological care to support patients throughout every stage of MS.
At MIND’s MS Center, patients benefit from fellowship-trained MS specialists, advanced MRI imaging, research-informed treatment approaches, and individualized care plans designed to manage both the disease itself and the symptoms that can affect daily life. The goal is to reduce disease activity, support mobility and independence, and help patients maintain the highest possible quality of life.
By providing specialized MS care at its Riverview location, MIND helps ensure that patients in the Downriver area have access to advanced neurological expertise close to home.
