The Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND) is proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its Riverview location, marking a year of growth, expanded services, and meaningful impact across the Downriver community.
Since opening its doors on March 17, 2025, the Riverview office has focused on a clear goal: bringing specialized neurological care closer to home for patients and families in the Downriver region.
Over the past year, the location has significantly expanded its clinical capabilities to meet growing patient demand. In addition to comprehensive neurological evaluations, Riverview now offers advanced diagnostic and treatment services, including EEG and EMG testing, infusion therapy, and in-office procedures designed to support timely diagnosis and ongoing care.
“MIND’s Riverview location was established to improve access to high-quality neurological care in the Downriver community,” said Dan Badgley, CEO, MIND. “Over the past year, we’ve been able to expand services, grow our team, and care for more patients—while staying focused on delivering personalized, expert care.”
The Riverview team includes fellowship-trained specialists and experienced advanced practice providers who work collaboratively to deliver coordinated care across a wide range of neurological conditions. As patient volume has grown, so has the breadth of services available, helping reduce wait times and improve access to essential diagnostics and treatments.
Beyond clinical growth, the Riverview office has also made a strong commitment to community engagement. Over the past year, the team has:
- Hosted caregiver-focused educational events in partnership with local organizations
- Participated in community outreach initiatives
- Organized a Thanksgiving food drive benefiting Fish and Loaves, a local nonprofit supporting families in need
These efforts reflect MIND’s broader mission to support not only patients, but also the families and communities who care for them.
Riverview patients shared why they trusted MIND with their neurological care.

As MIND looks ahead to year two, the Riverview location is focused on continued growth and expanded access. Plans include increasing diagnostic capacity, adding additional provider availability, and further enhancing services to meet the evolving needs of the Downriver community.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the patients, providers, and community partners who have supported Riverview in its first year,” said Badgley. “We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to serve this community with the highest level of neurological care.”
