Hour Detroit recently published a feature story spotlighting Yoga Moves Any Body, a metro Detroit nonprofit dedicated to providing adaptive yoga programs for individuals living with multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and other neuromuscular conditions.

Yoga Moves Any Body offers classes designed to support mobility, balance, strength, emotional well-being, and social connection for participants living with neurological conditions. The organization now serves individuals across metro Detroit through live online, on-demand, and in-person classes in locations including Troy, Franklin, Livonia, Farmington, and Grosse Pointe.

The Hour Detroit story highlights the experiences of participants who have found encouragement, confidence, and community through the program, as well as the broader role movement and wellness activities can play in neurological care.

Dr. Martin Belkin, Medical Director of the MIND Multiple Sclerosis Center, shared that yoga and movement-based wellness activities may help reduce fatigue and improve mood, balance, and overall quality of life for individuals living with MS. Earlier this year, Dr. Belkin participated as a featured speaker at Yoga Moves Any Body’s 2026 Holistic Health & Wellness Forum for MS, where national experts shared integrative approaches to supporting individuals living with multiple sclerosis.

MIND is proud to support the mission of organizations like Yoga Moves Any Body, which help empower individuals living with neurological conditions through movement, wellness education, and meaningful community connection.
