Clinical Research
MIND has been involved in clinical research for more than 20 years. Conducting clinical research can help provide a deeper understanding of the risk factors and neurological disease process for a given neurological condition, as well as expected responses to alternate therapies.
In particular, clinical research can be used to find effective treatments to improve the quality of life for those affected and it can help determine if a medication used for one condition could benefit another one. When patients participate in clinical research, it may provide early access to new therapies and they also contribute to advances in medicine that can benefit all patients.
Our clinical research team is dedicated to gaining insight and bringing forth treatments for diseases like multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological conditions.
MIND is actively enrolling in clinical research for Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis, including clinical trials. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about clinical research and how to volunteer, please contact your provider or email research@mindonline.com.
