Headache and facial pain disorders are among the most common disorders of the nervous system and are associated with significant pain, loss of productively, disability, and poor quality of life. These disorders include Migraine, Cluster headache, Tension Type Headache, Trigeminal autonomic cephalgias, secondary headache disorders, Trigeminal neuralgia and other facial pain syndromes.
Unfortunately, these disorders are often underrecognized and undiagnosed. Although presentations may vary, symptoms can progress resulting in severe pain and disability.
